MOVE TO THE COUNTRY

Kesällä 2019 pakkasimme kerrostalokolmiomme tavarat pakettiautoon ja muutimme vanhalle maatilalle Etelä- Savoon. Siitä alkoi uusi, ihmeellinen ja opettavainen elämämme maalla. Samalla hyppäsimme palkkatöistä yrittäjiksi, joka sisälsi paljon riskejä, mutta päätimme silti hypätä. Päivääkään emme ole katuneet.

In the first summer, we put the barn and enclosures in order for domestic animals. The dogs and the cat soon became friends with sheep, chickens, a minipig and rabbits. The first year we lived on tap water and wood heating, which brought their own challenges and excitement. On cold winter evenings, we heated water on the wood stove and washed in the yard under the starry sky.

We live in a yellow front-line man's house, which we have slowly made look like ours and more practical, corner by corner. Our barn and other animal farms, our beach cottage and our old log yard shed have also undergone changes and renovations. We like all kinds of projects on our farm, but we are also adventurous, so sometimes we also go on trips.

CONTENT PRODUCTION

Everything started from our passion for video and photography. We love to produce aesthetically beautiful and authentic content that delights and inspires the viewer. We mainly film our family life in the country on my YouTube channel and on my Instagram account. The videos deal with renovations of an old house, restoration of beach cottages, nature, domestic animals and everyday life of a family with children. I'm glad that our story has inspired so many people to pursue their own dreams, whether it's living in the country or something completely different.
